"I wouldn't put THOSE KIDS there," Bush declared
When I heard that POS say that today I actually saw steam pouring from my ears!

Kids!!!!!! First, that is false: the ages of troops vary widely. Secondly, how can the (supposedly) President speak in such a disrespectful and flippant manner about the brave men and women who are serving.

"If I didn't believe we could succeed, I wouldn't be there. I wouldn't put those kids there," Bush declared.

Again, all the idiot can spew is that personal pronoun: I, I, I, I, I, I, I......

And: "I wouldn't be there."

Psychologists have a field day....

3. Far be it from me to defend the SOB . . .
But if you're in your 50s, you tend to think of most soldiers as being 18 to 25 years old. Those are kids. (I'm 52 -- I'd call them kids, too. That's part of what makes so furious. This illegal, immoral war is killing our children, along with entirely too many Iraqi children as well.)

10. Sorry, but I must disagree
you might want to read up on the ages of soldiers serving right now. It's shocking. Like those bizarre (true) stories of retired, yes retired, people being recalled into service. Personally, I know of many middle-aged people serving. There's a wide range of ages.

bu$h* is on the edge about to fall into that looming abyss.

IMHO.

Peace.

8. "those kids"...not"our kids"
those kids don't run in the same circles as "our kids".No pain for a president who has yet to attend a soldier's funeral.

11. I know a man in his 40's
who is out there, he volunteered to go. My hubby's step-dad, a good man with a good heart who honestly believed he was going out there to help. He sure as hell ain't no kid. He'd been to war out there before and volunteered so that he could help the young men who didn't know what they were doing.

13. he's totally backed into a corner and he knows it, like many people when
they're confronted they go on the defensive and get their backs up. Since bush claims he's a believer i really hope he understands that on his judgment day things won't go well for him. You sent them Jr. now you will have to answer for it.

17. That raises the red flag with me every time !
"I believe it was the right thing to do..." etc.... That alone should give us pause that it might be another screw up... With his terrible judgement, he should refrain from ever using the "I" word again.
