WASHINGTON, Nov 23: US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Tuesday that the United States would start withdrawing troops from Iraq when the Iraqi armed forces were ready to take over security responsibilities, and this may happen “fairly soon”.

Hours after Ms Rice indicated the possible withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, some US newspapers reported that the Pentagon plans to recall three combat brigades from Iraq early next year.

One of these three brigades, however, would be ‘on call’ in Kuwait to deal with any sudden development, the reports said. The US currently has 18 brigades in Iraq.

But, today, the Propagandist all but stated his glorious fvck up in Iraq will be inherited by future US presidents.

1. It is preferable that the U.S. citizenry believe the propaganda, however
it is not NECESSARY. It is enough that the propaganda controls the dialogue and muddies the picture and distracts those engaged in the dialogue long enough for them to forget what is being discussed or for the next debate to come along.

2. They still have the problem of running out of time for the NG/Res
soldiers. Many of them are coming to the end of their legal limit on overseas deployment.

Expect them to come home...pretty damned soon. Against that I gotta say there is NO intention to bring _everyone_ home...EVER.

They are simply not enough to sustain the troop levels

6. That's pitiful...seriously. I haven't read reports on recruitment levels
in a while. Didn't realize it was so bad.

7. It's where that word "permanent" comes in
when talking about permanent bases.
