1. As well as
- repairing the economy
- repairing our military
- bringing honesty and integrity back to the white house
- balancing the budget
- taking care of americans
- telling the truth

All these trivial matters will be relegated to future presidents (unless they are republicans and the same ole ugly evil gop tune will continue to play.)

2. Yeah, you did

One of the things I most remember hearing from "average voters" interviewed endlessly on TV and even from a few folks of my own aquaintence before the 2004 election was that they were voting for Bush to "let the man finish what he started." Well, today he just admitted that he cannot and will not finish anything. basically washed his hands of the whole affair. He can only guarantee that American soldiers and Iraqi citizens will continue dying at a steady pace throughout the remainder of his regime.

"Finish what he started" indeed. I was sickened then and I feel worse now. We are a stupid and selfish nation......

6. Good point, vicman!
That always struck me as a dumb reason to vote for him -- let the guy who made a giant blunder try again? But now we know he's just going to leave his FUBAR behind.

8. That was my first thought too

I could barely believe all those nincompoops who said they wanted him to clean up his own mess and that was the only reason they voted for him last time. Well I call bullshit. Not only that but big ole steamy hip-deep piles of bullshit. That little pansy never accomplished anything of value in his entire life, just the opposite. Everything he touched turned to shit even though his daddy's friends propped him up. He has never paid the price for his failures or faced accountability for them. I can almost forgive someone who voted for Little Lord Pissypants in '00 but not '04, especially if they used that POS rationalization.

3. That's the Repuke way
Shit all over the place and make the Dems clean up their mess. They like a dysfunctional country; it lets them continue to steal.

4. Again I am not defending the idiot

but I believe the context was this:

Bush said "Withdrawl will be up to future presidents and governments OF IRAQ."

Taken in context I don't believe he meant future U.S. Presidents. He was speaking to the future Iraqi government - remember, it hasn't been formed yet.

Just sayin' - I think we should ALL be careful on how we read this stuff, we certainly want to be as accurate as possible.

5. US Troops and Mercs will remain in Iraq until
2009 unless the Shi'ites and the Kurds decide otherwise.

It isn't likely as long as the Bush Regime is helping the Shi'ites and Kurds kill Sunnis.

I guess "personal responsibility" is for the little people. Typical.
