1. Why repeat these lies here?
Corporate Weasel Media is already doing enough of that.

3. You know the old saying by their hero Joseph Goebbels...

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it..."

They need to follow their leaders!

4. "Abramoff-linked" - nice propaganda... Basically anyone who got donations
from any tribe in N. America is "Abramoff-linked".

5. Edit your page, that's a lie you have as a lead.
I'm not going to call you names but edit your title to reflect the truth, not the lie.

22. Sorry if I sounded harsh
But unlike the poster below--I would use the word "lies from ..." to indicate IN the title that it's a lie. Otherwise, for lurkers who haven't figured out how d.u. works, they may think you are saying what the title says.

Welcome btw...and my apologies for sounding harsh.

6. NOPE - NOT "ABRAMOFF CASH" - RNC says "ABRAMOFF LINKED CASH"
but never says how the cash was "linked"

Can we say "linked" = Indian Tribes donating to Dems - as they did before Abramoff went on the payroll as the cash transfer agent to Delay, Ney and the other GOP?

Is the media really buying this shit?

This is a GOP only scandal.

Indeed Delay was very proud of destroying most Democratic Party based lobbyists on K street via his famous "K Street Project".

Delay made the game pure GOP - and now the GOP should be the ones - the only ones - in the media as crooks.

26. Omg! Abramoff did NOT give Indian Tribes cash, he TOOK their cash
from them!! That was the reason he got caught.

So, to the liars at Newsmax, explain how money from the Indian tribes given to politicians, legally, is 'Abramoff Linked Cash?'

When did Abramoff give money TO the tribes? That's the ONLY way the money, legally donated by Indian tribes to politicians, could be 'Abramoff linked'.

Abramoff, top Republican lobbyist, darling of the Republican party until this week, STOLE millions of dollars from the tribes. Any money they donated was theirs, and in no way came from Abramoff. His whole scheme was to steal from them ~

What a bunch of morons! I know kindergarteners who have more intelligence.

9. The Hotline is debunking this
Go here for The Hotline debunking this. They say Abramoff never personally gave to Dems.

January 04, 2006
This Statement Is False
"Forty of forty five members of the Democrat Senate Caucus took money from Jack Abramoff. Below is a breakdown of how much each Democrat Senator received."

That's courtesy of the NRSC.

But it's not true.

Abramoff has never personally given money to a single Dem. All his personal and family contributions went to Republicans.

Yes -- many of his clients contributed regularly to Dems and GOpers. And maybe some of those donations influenced the actions of elected officials. But if the question is: was Jack Abramoff a Republican? was he committed to furthering the GOP agenda? The answer, clearly, is: yes.

10. Notice they use the phrase "Abramoff linked cash"
The RNC would not know the truth it it bit them on the ass.

Open Secrets tells the true story. Jack and Pamela Abramoff gave money only to Republicans.

Here is the list: http://www.capitaleye.org/abramoff_donor.asp

That's why the Republicans have all three branches of government, the media, the military and the majority of the lobbyists.

23. That's probably truer than you think (about the DLC Dems)
The DLC doesn't want Dems to be in charge. They just want the "corporate majority" of their minions in charge whether they be Republians or Dems. Republicans having control suits them better, but several DLC congress critters are "doing their job" and keeping their own job security by doing the corporate "will" and keeping the Rethugs in control.

14. Taking the cash is legal - doing something in return isn't.
The other night on Olbermann, Joe Scarborough said when he was in Congress the peanut lobby urged him to vote a certain way on a bill and sent a $10,000 donation a couple of days later. He voted the exact opposite. No crime, just pissed off peanut lobbyists.

17. Propagandapublican
It aint the product that matters to the rethugs, its the sales pitch. Hide the truth in a slickly worded sentence to make it look as if its something it isnt.

Ive always said the GOPee Cant be honest . If they were honest about the things they support or want, they would never win another election. Seriously. They are an illusion theyve created. Its smoke and mirrors. Name an issue. They will give you an illusion and the truth is hidden.

Stregnthen Social Security? Nope. They wanna kill it. Cut taxes? Only for the rich. You get a peanut.
War on terror? Nope. Enriching the military industrial complex that own them. A real war on terror would mean small elite groups who can pierce the curtain. Instead we get tanks, bombs, million dollar fighter jets invading countries that had NOTHING to do with 911. The small elite groups would do nothing for the profit margins of the military complex. Its all an illusion they present to the ignorant people who vote for them. They cant tell you the truth.
