Starting my day off with that fake, bitchy Katie and dense, pull my strings Matt is not a good start. I kicked the habit a few years ago, and rarely watch anymore unless there's something specific airing that I happen to catch.

Of course, Soledad and Miles aren't much better, but they aren't as polished as the other two puppets, so they're easier to digest.

That show is horrible. Such fake happiness. And it's like a propaganda show for the Bush Admin. No thanks. The creators of that once-great show are probably turning over in their graves.

But it's not so much about their guests when you have Katie begging Mad Money man Jim Cramer to say that Bush's poll numbers are going to rise because of economic "good news" - and practically putting her hand over his mouth when he deigned to criticize Bush instead?

You heard the flap about Fox News inserting gratuitous footage of WTC wreckage into a story about Operation Swarmer? The Today Show did the same thing - only it was more egregious. They inserted WTC footage into a puff piece on Bush - which did NOT mention 9/11 - right before the '04 election. It was a #@&%! free campaign commercial.
