an interesting Conviction tonight

Conviction is the new Law and Order series centered in the office of a bunch of young prosecutors. This one has two drug cases with very different results. Without going into spoilers it starkly shows how knowing the right people is sometimes more important than being the right people.

I've only ever watched Law & Order SVU, so I can't compare Conviction to any of the other ones. But I do love Conviction. I just read an article that said that NBC is already thinking about cancelling the show! I'm really getting annoyed with this pattern of putting a show on for a few weeks, taking it off for a while, talking about cancelling it, and all that crap.

But, you're right, the message of knowing the right people and being of the right group of people did ring loud, clear, and sadly true.
