Matthews is Drunk as a Skunk now on O'Hardball! Slurring speech,
an eye that's more closed than the other eye, misquoting numbers and spacing out. He has renamed the show for today O'Hardball...and I guess he started partying early.

It's amazing..

8. Don't you mean "O'HACKETT"?
This whole "O'Hardball" thing is wearing a bit thin, but I did enjoy how Ron Christie just made a complete O'Jackass of himself ...

He is play-acting at being drunk in a not-so-subtle form of racist humor.

13. Most of us Irish
take the "drinking" humor without much umbrage.

As long as its a joke.

Someone actually accuses my Daddy of being a drunk, I'll jam my elbow in his throat. As many times as I can.

or to forget his boyfriend's poll numbers? Either way, he can't be any worse drunk than he is sober.

any Dem give. If our Dem DLC'ers don't want him...maybe the Cables will pick him up as our Democratic spokesperson. He's really fantastic....What a loss...but his time will come. ....What a speaker and articulator of what so many of us feel.

26. Chris Matthews gave up drinking? Reminds me of this joke
An Irish man walks into a pub. The bartender asks him, "what'll you have?"

The man says, "Give me three pints of Guinness please."

So the bartender brings him three pints and the man proceeds to alternately sip one, then the other, then the third until they're gone. He then orders three more.

The bartender says, "Sir, I know you like them cold. You don't have to order three at a time. I can keep an eye on it and when you get low I'll bring you a fresh cold one."

The man says, "You don't understand. I have two brothers, one in Australia and one in the States. We made a vow to each other that every Saturday night we'd still drink together. So right now, my brothers have three Guinness Stouts too, and we're drinking together.

The bartender thought that was a wonderful tradition.

Every week the man came in and ordered three beers. Then one week he came in and ordered only two. He drank them and then ordered two more.

The bartender said to him, "I know what your tradition is, and I'd just like to say that I'm sorry that one of your brothers died."

The man said, "Oh, me brothers are fine----I just quit drinking."

47. Matthews Wife (that he exposed at end of show) looks like Katherine Harris
She's Cruella de Matthews.....

She says Chris told her that she reminds him of GRACE KELLY!..

Look..not being cruel about the Matthews marriage but he does a show TRIBUTING ST. RONNIE REAGAN followed by he and his WIFEY at some FUNDRAISER...and we are all supposed to fall over dying at what a SAINT he IS?

His wife might be lovely...but she reminded me of "Cruella" Harris.

She also seemed to have had the "DC FACELIFT."

48. Shouldn't the FCC know there is a drunk on tv
Polluting the minds of the children in this nation, and glorifying substance abuse in front of them?

Wouldn't the Christian Groups that protect the children from such filth, demand the FCC levy heavy fines for this abuse that the children of America are subjected to? Really, while they were only trying to fulfill their Christian duty by staying on top of the Holy War On Terror, and have to be exposed to obscene drunkenness.

Where are the Christian Groups' outrage at this hideous behavior?
