The E-Mail I Just Sent To Senator Byrd

I called his office and Rockefeller's yesterday. My wife called, my son called too. Today is E-Mail day. The language might look a bit strange to you, but its the way it is for a reason.

Senator Byrd, please join in support of Senator Feingold's bill to Censure George W. Bush. Respect for the Constitution demands it as the least that might be done by our rump Congress, one too accoustomed to cowering to the Executive. You have stood up before, please do so again.

While impeachment is too good for this man, Bush - from Texas, censure will have to do if it be the only scold anyone is willing to lay on the pretender to leadership. I implore you from your high postion of power and as a fellow American who I believe shares with me the very greatest concern for our country to stand up to this tyrant.

I called my senators and several in leadership today. As usual, the staff are Sens Byrd and Rockefeller were the sweetest and the most friendly. Born there, I'm partial ;)
