9. Wonderful!
I'm only 110 miles from St. Louis. Mebbe I can rig up a longwire antenna... Many years ago, KMOX was the station of choice, in my vehicles and house, until Bob Hardy died, Anne Keif was sent off to the farm and the long time boss of bosses passed on. Then the giggling "new brooms" came in, changed everything, and installed the chief giggling idiot, Limbaugh.
(Back in the seventies, KMOX was the only station that I could receive while living and traveling in the mountains of Alabama)
I dropped that mind blemish in 1992 and rarely listen to them, anymore, although the radio fare here in so. Illinois is pretty bleak.
I hope this changes things.

13. Unfortunately,
if you are 110 miles from St. Louis, that's about 109 and a half too many to pick up 1190AM. Pretty weak signal.

16. Thanks, I just tried it out on two of the best radios I have.
No dice. As an old ham radio operator, I may still be able to work something up, but short of streaming on the computer, which, with dial up, precludes any other online activity, I am still liberal hungry in this neck of the prairie.

14. I wish they still showed the new affiliates on their Home Page like
they used to - I liked that. It made it easy to see the new ones. Now, I checked their site and googled and couldn't find it.

I guess the signal is sooo weak we can't get it and we're only about 20 miles from St. Louis as the crow flies! :wtf:
1190 is sandwiched in between KMOX and some other station that is also airing Rush - it'd be funny if it wasn't so disgusting :puke:

on edit: didn't catch your info, tekriter, before I spouted off! I'm new to the area...

17. I wonder what it would take to start up a low power
station to rebroadcast AAR. Dream on, I suppose.

19. I've given up on ever getting Randi live again pretty much!
Ok, I know I know, never say never. But SCREW getting XM, cuz they ain't worth refired shit. And they make you PAY now for the AAR netfeed. Preach to the chior alert! And darkness engulfs the EARTH if they can ever get a station up in Orlando or Ft. Pierce that actually *GASP* has Randi live.
Thank GODS for Sirius Left 146!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

21. I hope they find another affiliate in Philly
I know many people who were listening, finally, and then the station dropped it and went back to it's original programing.

22. here's the contact info for the station manager
Evan Crocker/General Manager
314-962-0590
Ecrocker@kfns.com

tell him you appreciate them airing Franken and would like more progressive talk on the station (they currently have O'Reilly -or whoever it is that regularly tells people to shut up - and Neil Boortz)
