Calling Will Pitt !! (Again....) Please start a DU thread in SUPPORT of

Feingold, and a DU thread in CENSURE of the spineless Dems who will not back Feingold on his courageous censure of B*. You did this before for Murtha and Reid, and it generated so many responses in a very short time period! We could send the threads to Feingold and all (Dem)Senators. I've read some of your comments r.e. Feingold, and if you have doubts about timing, motive, lack of generating Dem support prior to the censure, etc., you could easily include these as well (Skinner wrote an excellent thread on this yesterday).

It is a quick and easy way for many DUers to participate. I know we have been calling Reid, our Senators, etc., but this might be more effective.

4. Because it's a Raw raw ree (sp?) thread...It's very good, and it did

generate a lot of response, but I'd prefer a post with articulate reasons for support of the Censure, and condemnation of the Spineless. Pitt's posts always generate ample DU participation, and it is obvious that he writes well.

Then he needs to see if he can bargin that support to gain some advantage for something else...so he can simply get a progressive issue on the table.

They are thinking about this. It means they are putting their finger to the wind <blah> Cantwell is such a "politician" I am not happy with much of what she does.


I railed at their office people who took the calls. Sometimes you need to ask what your constituents want you to do and then there's a time to drop the politicizing and stand up for right!

16. It's a good post, but not what I was hoping for. You agree that 99.9%

of DUers believe that Feingold's Censure is justified, so why not start a support thread that we can sign and send as a group? From your recent op, perhaps you would be less likely to start a thread of censure for 'spineless' Dems, who are not in support of Feingold (or at least give that appearance.)
