Democrats whisper in the hallways....
"Shh-hhhh...don't rock the boat. Don't do anything to create controversy. Especially don't criticize George W Bush. The Republicans are running for cover. All we have to do is just sit tight until after election day and we will win by default. Don't go along with these insane ideas of Feingold. Even if we know Bush is a criminal, this is not the time to say anything about it..."

4. Sadly, that's about all there is to the strategy.
It hasn't worked, repeatedly. It's the very definition of insanity.

5. They have such an oppurtunity right now, a big opening and they play
it safe. I know they all say they don't look at the polls but from the numbers i've seen a lot of Merikans are waiting for the democrats to do something--to take a chance.

6. someone needs to send them film of any sports game in the world
where a team may be up in the score and they try to play prevent defense, 9 times out of 10 the team that was shooting themselves in the foot(the behind team) ends up coming back and winning the game.

No the Dems can't play prevent, they have to be on the attack like Feingold and Dean, if they play prevent we will be waiting for 2008 because 2006 was lost.

7. LOL! Gee, I kinda thought that was the 'plan' too!
doesn't seem to be working. Instead republicans are using the information leaked by 'anonymous' democratic strategists against them, especially regarding domestic spying. They were terrified about opening a debate until they saw the lack of support Feingold has and now they're going to rip 'em a new one. Some plan.

9. Yea, politics 101
what they're not saying is Rome is burning as they watch. The Feingold censure resolution should be supported by ever member of congress, because it's the right thing to do. He ** admitted to breaking the law, so that's not an assumption.

I heard some Dem say the other day that he was afraid that the country was weary of impeachment because of Clinton, well clinton did not commit high crimes and misdemeanors but Bu$s has. I believe the country wants it's leaders to be held accountable and that's the job for congress.
