A primary issue that the Dem candidate must address
The bloated budget of the Department of Defence.

How much do we have to let war profiteers and phony wars continue before someone has the balls to say NO MORE!

Examples of thievery abound. Sweetheart contracts are handed out to cronies. Weapons systems are dreamed up every day. Once in a while there is a show trial like Custer Battles and some loose change is recovered. Hundreds of billions of dollars just go missing.

When will a liberal Democrat take the leap and say enough? And more importantly will we support him/her?

1. The Progressive Caucus have taken the lead once again
They're bringing up a resolution to spend $60 billion on domestic needs by scrapping obsolete Cold war programs. I don't have the link but it was here a few days ago.
