Dean and Mehlman in front of the AMA...
Edited on Wed Mar-15-06 06:17 AM by Skidmore
Dean is talking sense, and honesty in government policy and decency in medical care--the way I wish Dem pols would speak. Mehlman is talking upper crust how to gain and hold power and money. Guess who these doctors are applauding? They sat on their hands when Dean spoke, but applauded several times when Mehlman spoke. It's disheartening. Healthcare policy will continue to be painful for the people, because the doctors don't want a change to their profession.
