Bush Lover
In case you have not heard yet the austic kid who scored about twenty point in a high school game might be a Bush lover. According to CBS Nigthly News the boy got his wish granted today. His wish was to meet with the president. According to another news source President Bush gave him an award today. The second source did not mention the boy wishing to meet President Bush.

1. Just a question?
Do you have to meet the president to be a "bush" lover?

8. He Might
According to the second source he is a highly functioning Austistic. So he might be able to know the difference.

4. So what?
We're so persnickety here about who is pro-Bush that it can seriously warp our ability to tell shit from shinola. When a person supports President Bush, that means the person is probably acting out of error, not evil. It is Team Bush that is doing the evil. Bush and his cronies are the bad guys, not his uninformed supporters.

I prefer to make things as simple as possible. Why should I spend my time writhing in anger over Bruce Boxleitner, Janine Turner, Kelsey Grammar, and some autistic kid, just because they may be misinformed or have some odd ideas? We can't all be right all of the time. Most Republicans aren't The Problem -- it's Bush himself and his philosophy domination, corruption, and privilege. The Radical Right is composed of Pied Pipers, not the mice -- or children -- being led away.

The enemy of democracy is in the White House, not next door. His supporters are secondary -- and their numbers are falling fast. They have begun joining us, and will soon re-discover what America is all about. That's something we ourselves never gave up on. We must keep our wits about us, and be willing to help our lost friends and neighbors find their way back home. They have been wandering around blind for the better part of the last decade, and NOW is the time they really need clear directions from old friends.

And what of Bush and his underlings? The direction is already clear. It leads to either a Federal penitentiary or to the Hague. Or perhaps both.

7. No Problem
I do not have a problem with him being a Bush supporter. I just forgot to put my last comment in the post. If he really likes Bush and it really was his dream to meet Bush than give him a gun and ship him off to Iraq. I understand that people have a right to support Bush. I just tend to that they should be willing to fight his war if they support him.

9. Hey, the kid probably does not really follow politics.
The thing that makes me angry is that Bush has made the office of the president a joke.

When I was a kid I would have loved to have met the president. Now? I could care less about that.
