7. President Bush hugs autistic high school senior - face also on cutout
President Bush hugs autistic high school senior Jason McElwain of Rochester, N.Y., whose image is also seen on the cutout, after stepping off Air Force One, rear, at Greater Rochester International Airport in Rochester, N.Y. Tuesday, March 14, 2006. McElwain, the manager of Greece Athena High School's varsity basketball team, was added to the roster by the coach so he could receive a team jersey and get to sit on the bench in the team's last game of the year. McElwain also got some court action and sank six three-pointers and another shot for a total of 20 points in three minutes. (AP Photo/Charles Dharapak)

9. That must have been scary for the autistic kid.
Some have real problems with unwanted physical contact, and it would be doubly troubling if it were * carrying a picture of his head on a stick.

10. The kid and his family are from Greece........
a suburb of Rochester, NY (not the country). Greece is a very Republican area, they're constantly voting down school budgets, hence, a very poor school system. The idiots who live in Greece are very conservative, bush loving morons. It figures bush would use this kid as a prop for a photo-op and that his parents would allow it.

17. Creepy...but this kid's story is pretty cool
He's autistic though functional, and could only serve his HS basketball team as the manager...until the coach put him in with four minutes left in the final game of the season. The kid went Kobe and dropped 20+ points in those four minutes, all from perimeter shots and three-pointers. They mobbed him afterwards like he'd won the championship. ESPN did a thing on him a couple of weeks ago.

19. His fellow students made those
When word got out that he might get into a game, the student booster club made those and handed them out to the crowd at the game.

22. Did this autistic kid give mrbush permission to hug him
regardless of the face on the stick? Does he have any idea who mrbush is? I thought this was a photoshopped picture. Reality imitates the Onion again.
