KGB's secret UFO files finally made public
KGB's secret UFO files finally made public

Files comprising the famous Blue Folder have been declassified a while ago. The prominent Soviet cosmonaut Pavel Popovich got the folder from the KGB in 1991. These days Mr. Popovich holds the position of honorary president of the Academy of Informational and Applied Ufology. The folder contains numerous descriptions of UFO flights and reports on some (mostly failed) attempts taken by the military in order to catch the aliens.

Aliens acknowledged back in 1968
In 1968, 13 leading aircraft designers and engineers of a brand-new aircraft section of the Soviet Committee on Space Technology and Exploration forwarded a letter to the Soviet Prime Minister Alexei Kosygin. Actually, it was a request to set up a special organization for the study of UFOs. A reply to the letter was signed by Academician Shchukin. It is an amazing document per se:

"A number of competent organizations of the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the Chief Directorate of Meteorological Service, Defense Ministry and a few other agencies considered the issue of nature of the so-called flying objects. The organizations involved in the study of the atmosphere and space have been instructed to register and do research on any cases of UFOs for identification purposes. The USSR Academy of Sciences is charged with general monitoring of the phenomena, and therefore a special organization for the study of UFOs is not required."

"It was a real breakthrough," says Vladimir Azhazha, president of the above academy and keeper of the Blue Folder. "The authorities not only acknowledged the existence of UFOs for the first time, they also showed their great interest in the issue," adds he.

2. my theory... the reason i've heard they wont reveal them is because it
would reveal that religion is a primitive superstition.. and that would throw the world into chaos..

but now religion is creating a worse chaos than the Alien's would, so it is time to flush Religion in favor for the positive changes Alien technology offers. which might have all the answers we need to survive our past stupid actions.

riding the world of religion would be like changing your socks after being on a Grey Hound bus for a week without taking off your boots.

I have to qualify that by explaining i suffer PTSD from torture and emotional abuse as a child in a fundamentalist extremist christian church

7. Why would this mean that religion if false? Are we so arrogant to think
that humans are the best that God can do?

13. the possible existence of aliens is not disproven nor disproves religion.
There is nothing in the bible which proscribes the possibility of life elsewhere. In fact, Jesus obliquely refers to "others not of this fold" to be gathered together at the end of time.
I've read nothing of any religion that strictly implies life exists here solely and nowhere else.

so I'm scratching my head at your statements.

Religion may or may not be true (depending on your beliefs), but certainly aliens would not disprove religion, as far as I can tell.

can you be more specific how it is you think otherwise?

18. what they know disproves the power of the gods, their cosmology
doesn't include the gods as an element in the creation and operation of the universe or our living rooms or bedrooms

21. "they" who? you're talking in shorthand, or riddles...
do you mean the aliens don't include gods as an element in creation? How do you know this? If they "know", how do you know they "know", and how do they "know"?
Are you in contact with aliens?

the rest of your post makes no sense to me....are you typing shorthand, is another language your native tongue, or are you being intentionally difficult to communicate complete thoughts?

perhaps you are an alien yourself and that is why your post is cryptic?

somewhere in the OT of what seems like either a spaceship or a prediction of the space shuttle launching off. I think it might be in Isiah or something like that.

Is an airborne nymph a flyad? And a very active nymph a go-gonad?

11. Sounds like the KGB trying to understand Q's latest inventions.
An Astin Martin piloted by James Bond seems an awful lot like a UFO to a Russian pilot just paid his monthly vodka rations.

In the Middle Ages everyone saw demons and the Virgin Mary, now everyone sees UFOs.

ROSWELL, NM, United States (UPI) -- Walter Haut, who as a young Army officer issued the press release about a flying saucer in Roswell, N.M., has died. He was 83.

Haut believed for the rest of his life the area had been visited by something 'not of this earth,' his daughter Julie Shuster told the Roswell Record. He went on to become one of the founders of the International UFO Museum.

A native of Chicago, Haut decided to settle in Roswell in 1946 after two tours of duty there.

On July 8, 1947, Haut, on instructions from the base commander, put out a press release about the finding of a flying saucer on a ranch near the base. Later the same day, the Army retracted the story, saying that what had been found was part of a weather balloon.
