Authenticity of these Dubya video clips.

This seems to such an open & shut indictment of Dubya's "gravitas" as well as his mental health, that it makes me wonder if it had been "doctored" in any manner. A while back, there was a video clip where his voice was electronically slurred, giving the impression that he was drunk.

I've never heard anything bad about canofun.com yet; quite the contrary. But I'd like to hear other opinions.

while it is edited, it is not doctored otherwise in any way. In fact, I just did that one the other day, and it starts out with him HOCKING UP his spittle in public. Yuk.

4. The SLURRED voice thing was a JOKE on LATE NIGHT TV

That British guy who has a late night show on the networks did a hooting version, and stated right up front that the tape was slowed down. Sheesh. He said it was a joke, he presented it as a joke, only someone not paying attention would think it was anything other than a joke.

But of course, the very best jokes have a toehold in fact.

I doubt CANOFUN is in the business of doctoring crap--they do a wonderful job just putting out their snippets of brutal truth.

Liveoaktx edits those so the viewer is treated to all dubya's lil' ticks and twitches within a speech.

As for "doctoring" them, I don't believe so. The clip you mentioned regarding a 'drunk' Dubya was a bit from the Late Show with Craig Ferguson. The show made it quite clear that their editors slowed the video down in order to obtain the effect.
