8. technically Cushing's Syndrome
many cancer survivors get some form of steroid treatment and the outcome is a permanently wider face (and jowls) after it subsides.

anyway who cares. It's McCain - a "principled" republican who just toes the party line in the end no matter what does not have principles, and I have no respect for him as a politician, even though he claims to be a "moderate".

ha ha, I made a funny. "Principled" republican.

Whatever is going on in his face, it appears to have gotten much worse since his last surgery.

That must be painful, or at least it looks as if it would be. I wonder how many times he's had that growth removed?

21. I do believe that he had had

a melanoma removed from this area. He may have had a radical or a partial neck dissection which often leaves patients very scarred and full of lymph, or his parotid gland may be involved somehow, and growing - quite possibly benignly - out of control. those tumors can become larger than your head if left untreated, or it is possible that for whatever reason it can't be treated at this time.

Hard to say...

ON EDIT: Other's people's responses are very funny methinks, despoite the severity of the condition. Camera usually shoots him from the right.

23. Hes all messed up .
I guess his arms came from being hung by them when he was a POW.

Hes a physical mess. I doubt that such health would be a good selling point to the RNC.

This is not a good thing!

Wow. I certainly don't like his politics but I have nothing against him personally. If anything, I think he is a sad case, the way he panders for Bush's attention and love after what Bush did to him. Something is wrong here...

35. Difficult for me to understand as well.
My guess is that he covets the Presidency so much that he's willing to take anything that BushCo deals out. I would have definitely drawn the line when it came to Rove starting the rumor mill in regards to my children. Surprises me that McCain has sold his soul so cheaply after he has already demonstrated great strength during his POW years.

Go figure.

I wish him no ill health.
