Biden and Allen are on MTP. Russert asked Biden if he'd been wrong to vote for the IWR. Biden's response? If I'd known how incompetent they'd be.....That's a disgraceful answer. It completely evades the issues of no WMD and the manipulation of intelligence. One of the things that really bugs me about Biden, is that he's not stupid. He is, however, arrogant and in love with the sound of his own voice.

You're absolutely right. I have such contempt for stupidity, I tend to overlook the danger posed by candidates like Allen. Lord knows, I did it with bushyboy. It seemed so obvious to me, I disregarded the danger. Fortunately, Allen has a Senatorial record we can use against him. Still, we do need to remain vigilant and fight like hell.

Bush said he needed IWR to convince UN to get inspectors back into Iraq--all the while insisting, "War is my last resort." We now know this was not true.

Bush and Blair evidently decided in the spring of 2002 to go to war in Iraq and Bush then proceeded "to fix the intelligence around that policy."

Americans deserve a president they can trust. Bush has failed utterly in his role as Commander-in-Chief.
