that's just devastating ... those donkeys sure looked scared, don't they ??

this really hits home with me ... Democrats don't realize that we are at the zenith of our power right now ... Democrats are likely to make major gains this fall and perhaps in 2008 ... but without laying out a bold, aggressive agenda to reform our country's institutions and the values we fight for, our time in power will be short-lived and our ability to govern will be short-lived and weak ...

this is the time to stop being afraid of our own shadows and offer a bold vision for the country's future ... winning is obviously critically important; a longer term view, however, will serve us much better ...
