I agree with the person above who said the electoral process (aden_nak).

What we need is clean elections with fairness, accuracy and tranparency guaranteed at every stage of the process from voter registration to counting the votes.

Probably campaigns should be funded as fairly as possible - based on equal amounts of public funding plus small donations from citizens (not corporations).

Then alongside that it would be good to have a REAL "fair and balanced" mass media - with objective reporting and equal time for both sides of the case.

Then, when we have a level playing field, if the Republicans can keep winning elections then I won't like it - but at least I would be able to accept it.

If the Democrats cannot win a fair fight then maybe we don't deserve to be in government? If we can't convince 51% of the people to vote for our candidates then there must be something wrong with us: either our candidates, our message or how we communicate.
