Ports deal - going-going-GONE! 2 weeks from now it's acient history
but that's how Rove works -- when things get to hot and his leaders' approval ratings go thru the basement it's time to meve on -- Ports deal served their purpose ---> distraction to current events -- like Abramoff running his mouth off to consequential peopotions! --time to talk about bombing Iran back on the table?

1. No - we can't let that happen. No one will fess up about how they can
claim that underlings in State, Treasury, DOD, and ?, plus the WH made the decision to approve this deal without anyone at the top knowing. At least that is what they are saying - that people below Cabinet Secretaries signed this deal. That appears to be a bald faced lie and we need to put them to the fire - we need to demand that they name those underlings and why they did not have to discuss with or report to their bosses.

The Republicans will probably block all invetigations so we must keep up the demand to see how this happened, because a similar thing could go down next week if we let them get by with this travesty.

Now is the time to shout - starting with our leaders. Call-ins. Hopefully, someone movement will take place.

Also, we need to demand that the people look at some of the other stuff that is going on - NSA, voting, torture, etc. Why do we let them get away with all that.

2. Be patient!
We have their attention, now!
There are things you can do that look good, and make you feel good, and, there are things you can do, that actually have an effect.
This is not a time to get shrill and hysterical, it is a time to fight smart!

3. I'm patient, but not about the idea that some would let it die. I think

there is plenty to learn yet. We are going to witness the mettle of Dem leaders, I'm sure, as we find out what the deal means and whether it is acceptable.

The clues will start coming out. We could be in for another round of our leaders getting richer.

If only the little people could send equally strong message to their reps about other issues.

4. Dead possums and yellow lines!
Yeah, I know, the center of the road sucks, but it is where most voters are.
What is needed now is for each side of the battle to stop seeing the other side as threatening.
Aim for the center, less chance of missing altogether!:toast:

6. Yeah, yesterday I posted that George is a uniter after all - we're
united with Duncan Hunter.

Personally, I would like to trade and trust. I just don't want a handful of Republicans trading and profiting for themselves and I can't abhor the selling of our assets. It bothered me in the 80's. In 25 years I've seen little good coming from it for the little people of our country. No one else seemed to mind back then.

I am against Americans who preach about the superiority of America. I think about what they could mean whenever I listen to them. Then, we ended up being imperialist liars and torturers. I honor everyone else on this planet. But I don't like our country invading, killing and being sold out from under us.

It's hard work being center.

I believe Dems won one for patriotism with our Republican counterparts. At least.

5. Imagevision?....this is long from being over!!!...Iran topic???
The Iran issue will even further expose the
Ports Deal as vulnerable.

The WH has shot themselves in the foot and have further exposed
the lack of security and even may now expose far more crimes
that have not even been untapped....like drugs & money laundering &
weapons of mass destruction & MIHOP terrorism in the making &
sex slave traficking.....

And good old W?

Well the CNN pics of him smiling and waving to the crowd will
be a front for the real vengence that will be surmounting.

I will never agree on any headway on any issue until these
bozos are out of office.

I REFUSE TO LET MY GUARD DOWN AT ANY TIME OR ANY PLACE!!!!
