GOP Site Blasts Dem Candidate for Ad on "Liberal Fringe Website DailyKos"
This is funny - from the National Republican Senatorial Committee - not only do they mention DailyKos throughout the page, they also link directly to it four times (well, they try to, the last link is bad).

Klobuchar Advertising On Liberal Fringe Website DailyKos

Washington, DC—Today the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) issued the following statement after U.S. Senate candidate Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) began advertising on the extreme liberal website DailyKos:

“Amy Klobuchar advertising on a hate-filled website representing the far-left wing of her party gives much more insight to her views than her repeated silence has,” said NRSC spokesman Brian Walton. “While it isn’t surprising that Klobuchar is comfortable with the extreme liberal left of her party, it is surprising that she is so publicly aligning herself with them.”

Klobuchar’s campaign committee is soliciting people to join her campaign through an ad on the site. You can see the ad at www.dailykos.com

Klobuchar’s Ad Appeared On A Daily Kos Page Describing A Recent DFL Precinct Caucus Meeting At Which Participants Passed A Resolution To Impeach President Bush. A Sampling Of Daily Kos’ Extremist Rhetoric:

When Americans Were Killed In Iraq, Markos Moulitsas, Who Runs The Daily Kos, Called The Security Personnel “Mercenaries” And Wrote “Screw Them.” “Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, who runs the Angry Left Daily Kos blog, had this to say in a post yesterday about the murders of four American contractors who were helping to deliver food in Fallujah, Iraq: ‘Every death should be on the front page. Let the people see what war is like. . . . That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries . . . . They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.’” (James Taranto, “Best Of The Web Today,” Opinion Jounal.com, April 2, 2004)

Zuniga Called The People Who Work In The Pentagon “Idiots.” “Will those idiots in the White House, Pentagon and State still claim that things are improving in Iraq?” Posted Oct 27th, 2003 at 10:43:43 (The Daily Kos Website, www.dailykos.com/section/War/9, Accessed April 3, 2004)

The Daily Kos On Fighting Terrorism: “The French Are Right.” “I know it’s not the most popular thing to say, but the French are right. You don’t win wars against terrorism on the battlefield.” Posted Mar 20th, 2004 at 18:55:40 (The Daily Kos Website, www.dailykos.com/main/2, Accessed March 22, 2004)

7. Why do you say that?
Liberals visit Daily Kos routinely. Who goes to this GOP site? I mean, do you ever visit the comparable Democratic site? http://www.dscc.org/ I don't.

But, you may have a point inasmuch that RW "talking points" spread rapidly.

11. Does this mean that we can attack candidates who talk with Hannity?
Or Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh?

3. This will only help to keep Kos at the top of the liberal blog ratings.

Isn't DailyKos the liberal political blog/forum with the most site traffic?

10. This is odd as Klobuchar is a centrist
not a liberal. She the DSCC's annointed candidate for Minnesota and will probably get endorsement at the state convention. If Minnesotans want to join a liberal campaign they should start working for Ford Bell. Check out his campaign and positions at http://www.fordbell.com

12. Woo-hoo, I smell desperation!
If Kos were as fringe as they're claiming, they wouldn't deign to comment on his site.

So ... how's it go, first they laugh at you ...

15. The National Republican Senatorial Committee
still hasn't figured out that the entire American population is sick and tired of their Taliban supporters. . .too bad for them. There is nothing more on the fringe right now than a Republican ANYTHING.
