I haven't listened to Rush Limbaugh or Hannity for over five or six years but I'm curious what the "Bush can do no wrong", RW radio hosts have been saying about the UAE ports deal.
Hopefully that will be discussed and not too much else as that's my sole purpose of even listening.

2. I listen to Hannity on the way home from work, mainly

because the station that his show is on is the only one with the traffic reports. And, believe it or not, he is 100% against the port deal.

5. 6 minutes into the program and Rush is discussing the deal

I guess the UAE is planning economic retaliation if the deal gets blocked. I'm really surprised that Hannity is against something the Bush administration is for except for maybe to keep his ratings as a majority of Americans are against it.

7. Rush thinks it's a good thing.

Although I can't follow his logic as to why. Main point is that Bush* is totally honest and trustworthy.:puke:

Rush claimed that he had seen the details sometime early last week. I then read an article that said that no one in Congress had been given a chance to see the details. Man does that guy have connections!

I think Rush's new priority is not preaching right wing propaganda but instead making his show primarily an infomercial to sign up or subscribe to his website.

Out of the 1.5 hours I listened it was:

15 minutes on the ports deal.

30 minutes of local news and commercials.

10 minutes of staged phone calls.

And all the remainder spent telling people to sign up for the website and why they should sign up for it. Give someone a gift subscription, etc.
