Chance to ask Gutierrez (Sec. Commerce) questions on Friday

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez, U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, and Congressman Jim Gerlach (I am disgusted to say they are my “representatives” in Congress!) will be at my employer on Friday. After he meets with the senior managers (not me!), the Secretary will be making a presentation about ‘Innovation and Global Competitiveness in America’ and taking questions from the audience (submitted in advance, of course). Does anyone have any questions they’d like me to ask him? (I don’t think Santorum and Gerlach will be taking questions, but if anyone has suggestions there – and believe me I have a few of my own! – I’ll make a note of them and take them with me – in case!)

I guess I'll help you confront another right-wing scumbag. Ask him why Bush is trading nuclear secrets to India for mangos? Wait and see if he interrupts you. I'm not good at doing online research normally, but ask another DUer for help on that, but if you could find transcripts from someone like Lou Dobbs, you'll hit a gold mine of questions to ask.
