‘It’s fair to say that the invaders have corrupted our entire country’
http://www.sundayherald.com/54462

By Saddoun Abdul Sada Shopkeeper

I am sitting inside my house because of the curfew which prevents any of us from going out. It is very unlike the life we know of meeting with friends and taking tea outside. snip

Then the Shia brothers are blaming the Sunnis, while our Sunni brothers are blaming the Badr groups {Shia Badr militia}. Meanwhile, both of them are blaming the invaders.

I am happy that our leaders have called for peaceful demonstrations but, as we have seen, I don’t think this helped stop other mosques from being attacked. And in the end, although I was happy that the Americans came to remove Saddam, now it’s fair to say that the invaders have corrupted our entire country – and are allowing our religion to be attacked.

It breaks my heart to think the Iraqi people have become this divided. I never thought this could happen, and we can now only hope that this split does not widen.

5. It does seem that they needed a strong leaders
I still can not believe we could not have got rid of him in another way. Cold war does not look so bad now. Iraq looks to be a mess. I was just reading about the number of death since mid-Feb. Who is right? Our army gives one number and Iraq give another.
