2. Sadly, it's true. I'm always underwhelmed by the 'retarded' roles

actors undertake in an obvious grab for the perfect 'pity' role. Just because you can act retarded doesn't mean you can ACT.

Same goes for the 'insane' roles, where someone has to act crazy/violently angry-crazy. That crap is a cinch. It's the subtle stuff that's tough for a good actor.
