Is Karl Rove still in legal jeopardy regarding Plamegate?
Edited on Sun Mar-05-06 04:18 PM by Stevendsmith
Sorry, but WTF is taking so god damn long?

Why is justice so damn slow to develop in a criminal case that involves individuals that occupy the highest positions of power?

Jeezus, this thing has been going on for years.

Meanwhile, the rat bastards sit comfortably in the White House, committing crimes against humanity at home and abroad.

My patience has limits.

These thugs are gonna get their full two terms in office.

DAMMIT!!!!

2. Fitz recently came into possession of a lot more
info, I suspect to help his case, so he's probably still trying to connect the dots.
Patience!

Details Emerge in Latest Plame Emails
By Jason Leopold
t r u t h o u t | Investigative Report

Wednesday 01 March 2006

..............

The emails from Cheney's office that were turned over to Fitzgerald earlier this month were written by senior aides and sent to various officials at the State Department, the National Security Council, and the Office of the President. The emails were written as early as March 2003 - four months before Plame Wilson's cover was blown in a report written by conservative columnist Robert Novak. The contents of the emails are said to be damning, according to sources close to the investigation who are familiar with their substance. The emails are said to implicate Cheney in a months-long effort to discredit Wilson - a fact that Cheney did not disclose when he was interviewed by federal investigators in early 2004, these sources said.

The emails also show I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Cheney's former chief of staff who was indicted in October on five counts of perjury, obstruction of justice, and lying to investigators related to his role in the leak, Deputy White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove, and then-Deputy National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley, as well as former Under Secretary of State for Arms Control John Bolton and other top officials in the vice president's office also took part in discussions about ways in which the administration could respond to Wilson's public criticism about the Bush administration's use of intelligence that claimed Iraq tried to purchase uranium from Niger.
.....................

Witnesses who work or worked at the CIA, the National Security Council, and the State Department who have been interviewed in the case, and some of who are cooperating with the probe, said they told Fitzgerald that they had received or sent emails to senior aides in Vice President Cheney's office, the State Department and the National Security Council as early as March 2003 about Joseph Wilson.

Other emails show that in mid-June 2003 these officials had sent emails that mentioned "Valerie Wilson" - not Valerie Plame - and her employment with the CIA, sources close to the leak investigation said.

One email about Wilson and his wife is said to have been sent by Libby to an unknown senior individual at the National Security Council in early June 2003, after Libby was told by Marc Grossman, then Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, that Wilson's wife worked for the CIA and that Grossman's colleagues told him that Plame Wilson was involved in organizing Wilson's trip to Niger in February 2002 to investigate whether Iraq had tried to purchase uranium from the African country.

I ask in all sincerity.

8. My patience is not what he's considering, I don't think.
From his past efforts, the man is building a solid case and that takes time. I'd rather wait and see a bunch of them indicted than to see things done half-assed that can then be thrown out.
I know it's tough, but take comfort in how the future indicted must be feeling. I'll just bet they're as curious as we are, and losing sleep over it. Now, that comforts me!

15. When you are going about something as serious
as taking down the President and his entire administration you better be sure you have a rock solid case. This is how Fitzgerald convicted big fish before. He start in the middle and works his way up the ranks until he gets to the top.

I'm much more concerned about Congress, who doesn't seem to have the will or the way to stop Bush, in the meantime.

9. We are not even close to being finished
One piss poor excuse of an administration does not make the country finished.

We survived civil war, two world wars, civil rights, several corrupt administration's, etc.

We as a people tend to make things right in time. It will happen again.

10. But checks and balances and accountability appear dead.
If Bush and Co. ride into a sunset of freedom, wealth, and comfort, then the system has failed.

Tell me that in five years and I bet it will be a far different story.

Remember many hidden things remain hidden until the light of truth gets shined on it. Sometimes that takes time and the ability to get past agendas.

I'm still waiting to see the Kennedy assassination files. I hope to live long enough to have them opened for public scrutiny. I think around 2025. I should make it.

Taking out Rove is like taking out Bush... It'll never happen under our current fascist regime, that's why Gonzolas was made AG. His job is to protect Karl and Bush - It's amazing our so called Dems like Biden can be so retarded by giving Gonzo the nod. Joe Biden to Alberto Gonzolas - "I like you." It's over folks, we're done, the USA is done - now the FSA - Fascist States of America. Let Fascism reign.

Kicked and nominated as no one here or in the M$M is asking this question anymore.

12. I'll Ask You This Question....
What can/should we do if the "criminals" in this administration are pardoned and allowed to walk free? Since the angry citizens are in the majority, surely we can rise up and demand justice be done. We may not have them all, but we do have SOME rights, don't we?

Why does my stomach ache?

Sequoia steal there seats in office once again and their ain't a whole lot of Dems leaders that even know about it, let alone believe that it's actually been happening since 2000.

13. I'm more concerned about Cheney. It has been proven that
Cheney committed treason against the American people. That is a done deal, and the reality will not change over time.

Fitzgerald should indict Cheney immediately, on anything, perhaps for lying to investigators. If he wants to hold back on the higher crimes, that's fine, but he must go on record with Cheney.

There's no excuse to allow a traitor to continue his assault on our country.
