1. I am so sick of this "Time of War" bullshit

We are at war as much as I am a Republican. Just because we have soldiers in another country killing civilians does not mean we are at war. We are engaged in massive murder but not War. We do not have our military engaged against another military, only against civilians, women and children. We are killing people yes but war,,,I think not. It is because none of these people ever went to war or even went into the military that they think just because we have military units slaughtering civilians that classifies it as war. It doesn't..

5. State of War is BS

My opinion is that a state of war exists only when the Congress declares that a state of war exists. Congress has not, therefore, all of these justifications of the administrations actions because we are "at war" are simply illegal and unconstitutional. Support of these actions by the Congress then makes them complicit and impeachable by the people of their home state.

2. The struggle for the Republican presidential nomination

is starting. The various factions are trying to build their power bases and discredit the competing factions. It's going to be interesting. Basically, it comes down to Republicans fighting over the spoils of their war against America. Some factions have received a larger share of the heist -- financial and ideological -- of the Bush political machine's theft of America's assets than have others. Those who have been left out of the big heist are now trying to get some political leverage so they can get their share in the eight years beginning in 2009. What a sight. It's like watching one gangster movie after the other on TV.

By the way, if you want to see a hilarious gangster movie, watch Bugsy Malone. Kids play all the roles. The level of competence of Bugsy and his buddies is about equal to that of the Bush gang, but in the Bugsy Malone movie, the weapons shoot cream pies. Unfortunately, Bush is playing with deadly weapons including nuclear bombs . . . .
