I should not be the only one to boo Bush in Disney's Hall of Presidents
Last week my mom and I took my daughter into The Hall of Presidents at Disney World.

Granted, there were only about 50 people in the show at the time.

But I should not have been the only one to applaud Carter and Clinton and to boo Bush.

Yes, I booed both Bushes loudly and unashamedly.

About 20 or so people applauded Der Chimpenfuherer, and my daughter (she's three-and-a-half) started saying, "You're kidding me?"

The six year-old girl a few seats away asked her mother, "Why does that man hate Bush?"

So, anyway, I would like to get a commitment from my fellow DUers-- when in Disney, make it a point to visit The Hall of Presidents and to loudly boo Bush.

If need be, we should designate one show per day as the one at which the real Patriots should try to gather to boo his robotic effigy.

No child should have to grow-up never asking, "Why does that man hate the pResident who is destroying the environment, drowned New Orleans, bombs the Iraqi children, and decimated the economy?"

When in Disney-- Boo Bush!

3. You're right...nobody should, incluing you
You're at an amusement park (even if its tricked up with bunting and flags), and you're listening to an automaton. Booing is a means of expressing your opinion to the speaker (which in this case is non-existant) or to the audience, which in this case probably doesn't care what you think or about politics in general. And, promoting uncivil behavior is just as likely to encourage the RW'ers (for whom Disney World is probably the high point of their life's cultural travels) to do the same with Clinton, Carter et al. Better to keep quiet until you can find a better forum.

4. What ?!
How could you NOT Boo loudly in a room full of idiots cheering Bush (except perhaps out of fear)?

I can see remaining quiet if everyone did, but not if they were cheering.
Their cheering Bush is no less civil than booing him.
Amusemnt parks seem like a completely valid forum for self expression.

If I go there (highly unlikely - even though I have small kids and visit Orlando frequently) I will boo.

5. The real Bush screens his audiences
Robo-Bush does not.

Besides, we all booed the Evil Queen during the Snow White show, so why shouldn't we boo the Evil Chimp?
