"Port Security" - HA!! What a joke.
Edited on Sat Mar-04-06 08:27 PM by file83
Can someone please explain to me how a man with Swedish Mafia connections sneaks a $1,000,000 Ferrari Enzo, which is under repossession by the Bank of Scotland, into our country?

If this guy Stefan Eriksson who is involved with Mafia connections...

...can sneak this stolen car (registered with British plates)...

...into this country with out getting caught...

...and then crash it in Malibu under dubious circumstances...

...and STILL NOT BE UNDER ARREST, then tell me:

What the hell is our U.S. Government/Department of Homeland Security doing to protect us Americans!?!

This could have just as easily been this guy...

...sneaking this weapon...

...into this harbor...

I mean, am I splitting hairs here or are we in serious danger?

If you want to read more about this Stefan Eriksson case, check it out:

2. We've got to get to the bottom of this story! It stinks to high
heaven. I'm beginning to think that the Dept of HS is just a front for their crooked crimes.

5. Funny you should say that - right now I'm reading
a book called "Crossing the Rubicon" that gets into exactly what you suspect: That our Government/Industry are ALL involved in international crime/drug trafficking. It's an excellent yet chilling read. Every page I turn I'm can't believe what I'm learning about this lie that is so big - most people would never even imagine it. I've been checking the sources he sites and they have been all checking out - this book is solid.

I haven't even gotten to the part that builds the arguments for USG involvment in 9/11. I'm interested to see how far down the rabbit hole this corruption goes.

I think you should check it out, your suspicions are well founded.

3. Hong Kong, Singapore, and a few (very few) countries inspect 100%
of all containers. (We do 6%-12% of containers).

We really rely on the honesty (computer verified ?) of shippers, carriers, freight forwarders, port operators, rail carriers, truckers, etc. with full inspection of 6%-12% of containers.

Bush - Cheney - Chertoff don't want to spend the money.

Steve Flynn has been ranting for 20 years - and I have been ranting for 36 years (although mostly about Liquefied Natural Gas Super Tankers - and more recently Esso Valdez).

Here's one of many reads -- --- and if you go back into the late 1960's and early 1970's, my port security studies will pop.

4. Our communities are awash in cocaine and heroin
How does that get into the country?

6. Exactly - good point. I guess my point is that a WMD "bomb" probably
wouldn't be much bigger than a Ferrari Enzo. Drugs can be put into smaller size containers - but a Ferrari Enzo is hard to hide, know what I mean?

Your argument rings true though - if drugs are still pouring into our country, then obviously are borders only exist on maps. There really is no such thing as a border in the US; it's all open to whomever wants to do business with the guards ($$$).
