A wager for a lurking freeper:
How serious am I about 2006 being a winning year for the Democrats in the House and Senate?

How about this serious:

I am willing to wager a fantastic bottle of liquor against any wager of equal value that the Democrats take back control of the House and Senate, WITH upsets in the races of Dewine (OH) and Santorum (PA).

I am so willing to bet in favor of the Democrats in 2006, that I am putting a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label Premium Scotch Whiskey on the line to the first individual to contact me putting a serious wager in place.

Inquiries may contact me at Commander_in_thief_2000@yahoo.com

Time to put your money where your mouth is.

p.s. feel free to cross post at freerepublic

2. I just offered your wager to my co-worker
He says, make it $1000. i think he's serious. I also think he's nuts. Wait, I know he is. But he is a silver spoon trust fund kid who only works to keep from being a further embarassment to his family. I gave him your email. If you can't afford it, I'll back you for half if you want to bet him.

4. $1,000 is a little much for me...
$250 is a little more affordable, after all, Uncle Dick told me I need to save more.

9. I just sent him your note
via email. He left for the weekend. I hope he takes you up on the bet on your terms. And I hope you take him for all he's worth. Heck, I'll badger hiim to bet $1000 to your scotch. He is enough of a freeper and enough of an ass (plus, with his trust fund and salary, $1000 won't mean much to him) to take those terms. Good luck!!!!!

3. I hope we pick something up
I hope w. has some sort of "lose big in 2006, replace Cheney with Mcain, run Mcain Rice 2008" plan.
A neocon mihop / terra event might cost us gains, but I don't think that pnac needs to create a mihop event in 2006, as they have it all right now (war).
There is no reason that we can't pick up huge gains this year. It is ours to lose.:kick:

6. Be careful, Earth First
Republicans know how to rig elections. Think Diebold.

7. You think that Santorum will win?
Because that would be an upset. He is trailing his Democratic opponent by a wide margin.

10. I think he means Santorum will lose
That as an incumbent, he will be upset. Not an upset of current trends.

11. Freepers might believe the same thing
My dad told me last week at church some of the guys were talking politics and he absolutely can't stand it when they do, but one of the real Right wing guys said, "A lot of Republicans are gonna get voted out of office this year and it's gonna be a real tragedy."
