The citizenry, for whatever reasons, are disengaged and passive. We really have become that "Nation Of Sheep" that Lederer wrote about so many years ago.

I think they'll continue to get away with everything, and no one will do anything meaningful to stop them until we're in total ruin.

I think the '06 elections are going to open some eyes big time. I've been here for six months or so reading, following links just paying attention and from it i understand my position is not very popular but i'm more convinced than ever before.
