Buyer's Remorse
We had a big job to do. We needed a strong, reliable vehicle. Everybody said this vehicle would protect us in an accident. But that was way back in November of 2004. Now we see that this vehicle had a shiny red paint job, but its engine was shot. Somebody must have put sawdust in the transmission. It has no power at all. Can we take it back and trade it in for another? No. Because we still have 3 years left on the warranty...

1. It was defective at the time of purchase. The lemon law should apply.

5. Yes, but unfortunately, many lemon laws only extend 30-days from the date
of purchase... of course, outside of metaphor land, there is a viable solution for consumers.

2. Everything the salesman said was wrong with the Blue Car I wanted
Edited on Thu Mar-02-06 12:32 AM by emulatorloo
turned out to be what's wrong with the red vehicle. Turns out the Blue Car still runs great! Why would Mr. Rove do that? He seems like such a nice man.

3. We signed for the blue car, but they delivered the red truck instead
Funny how we thought we were signing the blue invoice, but it somehow got switched to the red one.

4. Once it's proven a bill of goods was sold fraudulently...
then a trade-in is possible. Keep in mind, though, a person could wind up with a far weaker vehicle that's only good for show.

6. Warranty will expire way sooner than the last payment.
Our great-great grandkids will be paying this clunker's tab.

Where's the co-signee?

7. Sounds like it's time to
find a 'sucker' freeper to take it off your hands.
