He is in the minority because "Americans don't UNDERSTAND the deal"

7. 'they should have know that people like Chuck Schumer would jump on this"
like he justs sits around waiting for things to complain about this - not that there should be true outrage.

What a jerk.

13. flat earth society tom friedman....
he'll explain what's going on, in a roundabout way full of tangents each leading in multiple directions requiring detailed investigations carefully noted (iow he'll waste everyone's time)

11. Friedman - "terrorists are attempting to take this to the next level"
re: Saudi Arabia attempted bombing.

"are we winning the hearts and minds" oh my. what a silly question.

12. ACK - anyone taping this? Friedman has SO many great quotes
on conservation - too in awe to type:

on Cheney, "he can't even choke out c-c-c-c-conservation"

"green is the new red, white and blue"

"it is not girly man to think of the future - it is patriotic - it in our security interests"

Cafferty, "so many of our problems would just go away if we never had to import another barrel of oil".

14. "Green is the new red, white, and blue." That was priceless.
And the Cheney choking out c-c-c-cconservation was great, too.

Friedman was on the wrong side of the Iraq war argument but he has redeemed himself, today, I think.
