"Political Beliefs" should become a protected class under Title VII

I realized this after reading threads and news articles and hearing it myself how "liberals" or "Democrats" are being demonized by various media spokespeople and others. Take some passages from Ann Coulter's writings or Rush Limbaugh's oral masturbations and substitute the word "Jew" or "Black" for "Liberal" and it becomes clear that this is hate speech that should be a violation of civil rights law, except that it isn't. Think about a talk show host recommending that "Liberals be rounded up" as has been reported on these boards. I also realized that I have almost never heard a liberal or a Democrat make similar comments about conservatives or Republicans. We seem to discuss how "mis-informed" or "ignorant" they are and bemoan their control of the media, but I really can't recall anyone I am familiar with suggesting violence or dis-enfranchisement as a solution.

For those who don't know what the actual protected classes are:

Religion, Race or Color, National Origin, Sex
