I got polled this morning on a Jeb Bush 2008 candidacy
Edited on Sat Feb-25-06 02:23 PM by npincus
On the telephone, 5 "yes or no" questions- a recording, not a live person. I only remember these:

"do you approve of the job President Bush is dong?"

"Do you agree with the Air Marshalls' actions in shooting (name of victm?)"

last one:

"Would you support a presidential candidacy for Jeb Bush in 2008?"

That last one came out of nowhere. The previous questions were probably to weed out Democrats and left-leaners. The sponsor of the poll was not identified. Hmmmmmmmm.... haven't the B*shes done enough damage to this country and the world? There's NO WAY America would elect another one. So I believe.

8. Oh yes he does
all he has to do is hope the Dems offer up another witless DLC addled candidate who turns the party base off and he's in.

You do know why that's why the pubbies want Hillary Clinton, don't you?

5. Is it coming? Maybe. Will Jeb agree to be a tool like his brother?
Remember that Karl Rove, Cheney and the powers that be picked W. as the ideal candidate, groomed him and put their power behind him to get into office. Now, they have him in the Bubble. W. is completely out of it; completely trustworthy with delusions of being selected by God that they can manipulate. They may decide that Jeb is not so trustworthy, crooked as he must be by being raised by Babs (hello, Neil). But if someone from The Cabal does not go in, the fresh air about the corruption will be breathtaking and too dangerous to allow to happen. So, I think no election in 2008 is the scenario. Another attack, martial law, and no more slipups like the ports. My prediction as of now.

15. I have the same take on W. He was carfully selected due to
his name recognition and his willingness to let PNAC call the shots. He is nothing but a figurehead, but he doesn't care as long as they stoke his ego and let him run around in AF1 all the time. Your scenario about no election in 2008 is really scary, but I have to admit, the thought has crossed my mind.

We have communicated before, but you know that. Inquiring minds want details.

Not sure about the Granny thing, although grandchildren are the best. I will stay in my fifties for five more years. Will keep me lithe in the camps.

23. no election in 2008 is the scenario
That has been my firm belief since the SC's decision to install * back in 2000. There was a brief hope in the summer of 2004 but it was dashed on Election day.

7. I'm interested to see if the chattering Euphemedia is under orders...
...to keep mum on the Jeb stealth candidacy.

They spend so much distracting attention on Hillary and she's not even winking at the question. Jeb's actually polling and they'll likely ignore it so no "badness" rubs off on him from the current scandals.

But this could also be a distraction attempt in itself; and/or part of the DumpDick effort.

We need to ignore all this and keep as much attention as we can on the Stolen Election-related revelations coming out of Alaska, Florida, and Ohio.

This is what really terrorizes Karl Rove.

9. He can win
Only with electronic voting machines and no paper ballots. The margin of vote "adjustment" will need to be extremely large to defeat non-bush votes.

Keep your eye on the ball (Florida & Ohio) but don't forget other angles of attack (California ..).

11. Hey I thought in 1999, "there's no way...
the re:puke:s will ever nominate that idiot frat-boy over the field of seasoned, serious, qualified candidates". Boy, is my face is red. I ignored the wisdom of Barnum and underestimated the ignorance of the amerikan sheeple.

17. Lord help keep us from a continuation of the Bush "Dynasty"
Have these people not brought enough hell and havoc upon this nation? Upon the world, for that matt. To the question of a Jeb Bush candidacy in 2008, the answer is Hell. No!

That's the main reason, too, that I would not want to support Hillary in 2008. I like her, and I do think she'd be a good President (and I know lots of folks here would strongly disagree with me, which is cool). But I'd like to get away from having the same families hold the office of President. I want some new blood. I don't want a Bush OR a Clinton Presidential dynasty.
