Piece of advice from former Senator - take the time to individually
write to Senators and Congressman

Signing petitions all well and good (moveon etc) but sending personalized letters and emails way more effective

Former Senator Bob Graham recently moved to my community while he teaches at the Kennedy School at Harvard and told this to a friend of mine ( among other things)

We are hoping to hear him speak at an event near us soon and if he does I'll post pictures

1. Faxes and phone calls.
Faxes and phone calls are much better than email. Snail mail can be good if time isn't a factor.
