1. I was in New Orleans last night.
I'll be going back over there Monday for a luncheon that happens every year over there and then I'll be back in Biloxi for Fat Tuesday to celebrate with my friends here. We have to get on with our lives down here and Carnival is a big part of our lives.

2. They're only going to question it if they think a Dem is
within a hundred miles of it.

5. Yep ...
Like the Scott King and Wellstone funerals ... Freakin nazis, anything that isn't "theirs" has to be hated ...

3. Not just the talking heads...
...there was a thread here doing the same damn thing!

I say...party on NOLA! Winds, water, an incompetent government, should not prevent you from being NOLA!

From the murky waters, NOLA will rise again!!

4. I can't figure out why they think that Mardi Gras, which has been
celebrated in this country for over 300 years, would or should be cancelled. It is human nature to bounce back after a disaster, whether it be personal or national, and to reclaim their lives and their heritage. I say PARTY ON!
