"Arab bashing" and the UAE in perspective: a one act
I'm sure the Arab/Muslim world was totally ok with us pre-emptively bombing a nation for no other reason than to bring "peace and freedom" to the middle east...

I'm sure they shrugged their shoulders as they saw our government lump all the middle east together, by not bombing the countries from which the terrorists came, and by linking Osama to Saddam just because they could.

I'm sure they let out a yawn every day for the past several years as they watched on Al Jazeera their centuries old cities burn, and US citizens arrest and torture their people without warrant, and murder mothers, fathers, children, all because we lumped em all together with one guy.... and he was an arab muslim.

I'm sure that all pretty much rolled right off em.

But I'll bet what's REALLY going to set them off... is if we decide not to do business with an Arab corporation.

"Bomb our cities, mock our religion, murder our children, torture our people, steal our resources, create a civil war ... FINE. But to not do BUSINESS WITH US???? Fuck it... Jihad!!!"

HOLY CRAP PEOPLE. Get some motherfing perspective already.

1. Heck, they didn't even help the US fight in the Iraq War.
And some of the Arabs wanted Sadaam out. They just sat back and let the US do the hard work. I think the problem is that our military has become a bit of a work force for these people.
