OK, I have fucking heard everything now...
Edited on Fri Feb-24-06 10:42 PM by tjwash
WOLF BLITZER: Terry, is Iraq falling apart right now?

TERRY JEFFERY: Well, I certainly hope not, Wolf. But I think actually these attacks on Shia shrines can be attributed to the potential success of the Bush strategy.

Cnn, trying to out-fox fox as the leading distributer of government sanctioned propaganda.

What. The. Fuck. Just when I think these fucking republikkklansman jagoffs can't get any more stupid, or more blindly arrogant then they already are another one pulls his pea brain out for the world to see.

:wtf: :argh:

What's next?

WOLF BLITZER: Terry, is the nuclear bomb that recently went off in the Emirate run port of New York really a bad thing?

TERRY JEFFERY: Well Wolf. I think actually these Nuclear bombs going freely through US ports now, can be attributed to the success of the Bush strategy of clearing away a nice chunk of prime, beach front, real estate. After all, we all know that more open beachfront property can only mean jobs. It's good for the economy, and good for America
:argh:

I need a fucking drink....

Kinda like Ann Coulter saying "Democrats are in favor of racial profiling" because we have legit concerns over handing over our ports to friends of OBL.

53. Holy crow. How can they say these things without wretching?
Right after Chimpy was appointed to his office -- before 9/11 gave him the green light to shift into full Mousolini mode -- I wouldn't have disliked the man so much if it hadn't been for all the bushbots who, even then, insisted that he was one of the wisest, most capable leaders that the world had ever seen. I don't even think they fawned over Reagan the way they fawn over * -- not while he was in office, at least. I can understand liking the man as a person or agreeing with his policies, but this whole idea that he's the Marcus Aurelius of the 21st Century....what do they see in him? (My own guess is that they KNOW he came to office by shady means and they KNOW that he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, so they work extra hard to convince themselves that he's legit. But that's just me.)

55. Nothing surprises me any more......
assholes like this are a dime a dozen in the Republican party. Their hero, bush, can do no wrong. There is nothing bush could do that they'd ever find fault with, nothing. He could sacrifice the first born of all party members in the White House dining room on national TV, wipe the mess up with the Constitution and Bill of Rights and they'd say something like, "bush's vision for our country is amazing, he's decreasing the surplus population while recycled old, worn out paper. He's a real friend of the environment"!

I don't think these cretins actually believe their own horse-shit. To them it's a game, let's see how we can spin even the most egregious bush fuck-up into a "victory" for "this great man of vision". I think they make wagers with each other as to how many people they can get to swallow this ridiculous propaganda. How many total idiots can we suck in today? :eyes:

No sane person can listen to this shit and actually believe it. This proves just how deluded and sick some Republicans are, they CAN believe this and DO!

he's only fucking the "little people". Assholes like Jeffrey's are actually doing quite well in terms of income and the ease of "journalism" that they have been provided by the BooshCabal. No thinking required, just print/spout the main talking points and collect a cushy salary in 6 figures. Shit, how can they not lie with this much incentive?
I am sure they will spout the success of the Bush strategy when all the world's creditors decide the US is overdrawn and the economy collapses. Scum always floats to the top.

43. We are beyond that. These guys have more power and made
more deals. We have something the common folk of the Soviet Union didn't have.

The Bill of Rights and the memories of a Real if not perfect Democracy. Even though they are trying to break down the fiber of our democratic government,we are still have the power to move them back into their holes.

Talk to those you gave up on, today about: the 21 DP deal and how we are still at war after 4 years, the price of gas is going up again, and "why didn't the Feds know that people were dying in NO?" How are we going to pay off the debt of this war? Whose going to help the elderly when they can't receive their pensions or Social Security,YOU?

Ps, you will be older sooner that you think.

It's not too late to turn it around. Stay aware of local government and squawk and shout and get in the faces of your local and state reps. It will be heard!

39. So did 9/11 also prove the Bush stragegy was working?
The successful strategy: Do nothing about imminent terrorist threats. Just let it happen. Foster an atmosphere of fear. Lie yourself into an unjustified and unwinnable war. If opposition to policies surface, hammer your political opponents as being soft on terrorism. Spy on American citizens without authorization, in the name of national security. Avoid transparency and do everthing in secret and under cover of darkness, the later in the week the better. If bad decisions are made (as the in ports fiasco), don't offer up any explanations to the American people -- just threaten a veto. Lie, cheat, stonewall, and bask in the rewards.

Just where would BushCo be if 9/11 had never happened? Out of office for starters!

I also read on this sight that FOX news was pushing this point of view yesterday.

Go figure

I don't remember reading it in the book. Methinks CNPravda might just have broken new ground here.

70. He's a fool and come to think of it, all media are filled with fools.
I'm convinced that most in the media have been so wrong about Bush that they have decided that they will still back Bush to the end of time because they need to be right. Never mind anyone in the media coming out and saying they have been wrong all along about Bush and it is time to set the record straight. Bush is the drunk and they are all his enablers.

From where I sat, Begala pretty much took the guy apart. Made him look like a fool and then some.

75. Speaking of HUMAN EVENTS
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Events

Human Events is a ultra Nationalist conservative magazine founded in 1944.

Columnists include Ann Coulter, Terence P. Jeffrey, Robert Novak, and John Gizzi among others.

The magazine gets its name from a clause in the United States Declaration of Independence which reads "When in the course of HUMAN EVENTS. . . ." For this reason, HUMAN EVENTS is often spelled in all capital letters.

Human Events is published by Eagle Publishing of Washington, DC.

Human Events was one of Ronald Reagan's favorite magazines. Ronald Reagan once told Mikhail Gorbachev during face-to-face Cold War negotiations he could not give up SDI because his favorite paper "the so-called right wing, and esteemed journalists, who were first to criticize him" were "kicking his brains out" over the defense system they supported.

77. I'll go so far as to say this...
Despite being slightly skewed, it it is halfway valid. Seems like the insurgents were concentrating on killing US military and Iraqi police/military until now. Now that the elections are done, and a government, no matter how weak or half assed it may be, is forming that's a problem for the insurgency. Stability is definitely their enemy.

Now Al Zarwhateverhisface is trying to counter that by stiring up the hatred along the ethnic devides that have existed for, oh, a thousand years or so. The change in stategy is obviously a repsonse to the growth of the political process in Iraq.

That being said, can we be serious. Bush's strategy should have been to secure off the borders of the country and all the ammo depots that were out there so that the insurgents wouldn't have been able to gain a damn foot hold in the first place. You know, kind of like all the intelligence agencies in the country warned would happen long before he ever went to war. So, Bush's "Whoops, we better come up with something" strategy he's got now has had an impact, but his complete and utter lack of strategy from the onset of the war and the toppling of the government was the exact and utter failure everybody but him saw coming.

Seven soldiers were killed on Wednesday. The casualty rate is going up.

Reconsider where you get your information.

Saying that this bullshit is "halfway valid" is 100% stupid.

Um, excuse me, but what the hell are we doing in Iraq in the first place? This Administration used a myriad of lies and misinformation to get people such as yourself hyped up about invading them. First they used 9-11, and added the word "Iraq" after every speech and sound bite given about the WTC hijackings, even though it has been proven time and time again, that they had zero to do with any phase whatsoever of the New York City terrorist attacks. When that stopped working so well, they resorted to the "Iraq has nu-cu-ler weapons poised and ready to strike", "yellow cake", "smoking gun in the form of a mushroom cloud" BULLSHIT to get you hyped up about invading them.

After Congress voted to go to war, with the Congressional Democrats specifying that their "yes" votes were on the condition that weapons of mass destruction were actually found by the UN inspection team. What did the Bush boys do? Tossed out the UN weapons inspectors, created false intelligence, and used that as a precedent to invade.

And you have the nerve, and the arrogance, to call the Iraqi's insurgents? Uh excuse me pal, but WE, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, went against the entire fucking world's pleas and opinion and invaded their country. Suppose that China was to invade us, remove GWB from power, installed a puppet government, started stealing our resources, and sold them off to the lowest bidder. While they did that, they tortured our people and brought the unemployment rate to over 50 percent, and stood by while people starved and had disease run rampant. You can bet we would do a hell of a lot worse than what the "Iraqi Insurgents" as you are so fond of calling them, are doing right now.
