could we be so ashamed of bush......
that is why a serious impeachment process cannot seem to get itself off the ground ? Could it be that as Americans ,forget the Dem/repug thing ,just as Americans ,we cannot believe we let such a incompedent fool become our president ,and know that a impeachment process will only put this fool on the front page daily for months. Its almost like we have made it this far with him ,let his last couple of years end as uneventful as possible, and then perhaps our country can start to heal from the damage to our reputation ,our standing in the world of our milatary and security abilities once again gain back, respect from our allies and even our enimies ,who play this president so easily ,he is to busy packing the pockets of his domestic doners and taking vacations , so shallow he actually believes everything is honky dory .He does not have the debt of thought ,to think about the widow with a set of young twins and a new born ,that now will never know their father. About the thousands that dies becasue he was asleep at the wheel pre 9/11 ans still has'nt waken up ,created a huge new dept ,called homeland security ,that has actually made us less secure then we ever been ,and cant even warn our population of a natural disaster they had info on heading its way ,again causing inocent lifes to be lost .Has anyone tried to come up with a body count since captain dumbya has taken the wheel ,not just milatary ,inocent civilians both american and others ? Even I find I dont follow up on current events as much as I use to ,the chenney shooting ,is one example of how our news media ,and even we have let our selves drift away, and just stand by with fingers crossed that not to many more will die B/4 we are finally rid of what I belive is to be simply put ,the most incompetent white house we have ever had and hopefully ever will have. republicians who try and defend smirk have to know they are whoring themselve on a real loser , who never won a election and certainly will never win a Nobel prize ! Please let it end ,may time pass quickly ,for life is short ,and I feel that to many more will have even shorter lives untill term two is up !

1. No, impeachment won't go forward until we get his lame defenders
out of the House and Senate--hopefully we will clean house this fall.

3. He won't be impeached.
so, let's wait until he's out of office. Expose his corrupt, amateurish, ignorant self and then arrest him for war crimes and permanently ban him from getting involved with American Politics in any way, shape or form then banish him to live his remaining year in Iraq.

8. You mean like Clinton did with poppy over iran-contra?
Edited on Fri Feb-24-06 02:22 PM by QuestionAll
the "christmas pardons" weren't investigated by the dems in congress "for the good of the nation" and to "move on"...all with Clinton's blessings...no wonder he and poppy are so pally-pally these days.

if they would have done their FUCKING JOBS back then, we wouldn't be burdened with the demon seed today.

I NEVER want to hear "for the good of the nation" as an excuse to excuse high crimes again.

4. I do believe some are fearful impeachment would irreparably damage U.S.
You are onto something because I get the impression there is a reluctance to impeach, not because he doesn't deserve it but out of fear that impeachment would be such a damaging body blow to U.S. economy and status around the world on top of 9/11, Iraq and all the damaging things Bush and Cheney have already done. There are some who believe it was for the good that Bush "won" in 2004 so that all the fallout from his and Cheney's rotten schemes and Repub corruption would get exposed and force them to have accountability.

I don't agree with those who fear impeachment. I think a thorough housecleaning is in order and it would be quite healthy for this country if they were forced to resign in disgrace so we could have a renewal.

5. Nothing less than the whole house
*, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice and Gonzales. Each and everyone of them needs to be tried for crimes against humanity and acts of treason. NSA: Did you read that? I'll spell it out. That was BUSH, CHENEY, RUMSFELD, RICE, and Gonzales.

9. for many Americans, it's simply denial . . . they refuse to believe . . .
that their president can be so unethical, so dismissive of their rights, so dishonest -- well, so evil . . . for many, the presidency is still the embodiment of the nation, and to admit these things about the president, they have to admit these things about the US of A . . . and they're simply unwilling to do that, regardless of the evidence . . . it goes right to the core of who they are . . .
