Unbelievable! What Bush needs for a 4-hr stop in Hyderabad
http://www.telegraphindia.com/1060223/asp/frontpage/story_5884422.asp

Since yesterday, 80 men and five helicopters — to ferry Bush and wife around Hyderabad — have landed in the city. So has a US air force plane with two containers of special communication and surveillance equipment.

Members of the Presidential Food Service have brought along their own frozen chicken from the US, besides vegetables, marmalade, sauces, cooking fat, cheese, salt and sugar, and are getting ready to set up shop at the Grand Kakatiya, where the Americans have booked 140 of the 185 rooms.

“They have even brought water purifiers and their own laundry machines as the security and communication teams have to spend over four days in the city,” police said.

“The second team of Americans landing here on Friday will include barbers, doctors and paramedics also,” the official added.

In contrast, Bill Clinton had a burger lunch prepared by the hotel!

What an unbelievable waste... for 4 freaking hours! This is insane.

2. Trashed the grounds of Buckingham Palace, too.
Between the helicopters, the multitude of vehicles, and the droves of "essential personnel", they made a godawful mess that the Brits had to clean up. "Another such honored guest and we are finished", I suppose.

3. I'm stunned...
...that Bush even knows what marmalade is!

As for the article....I'm completely sickend by the senseless waste of this monarch wannabe.

4. K&R. Let's let people see how the little chimperor conducts himself.
But he is so reviled around the world that the extreme security measures he takes when traveling are, undoubtedly, 100% necessary.

5. This is what gets me:
special communication and surveillance equipment.

Wow. You'd think with all that equipment he might've known about that port thingy.

Is it impeachment time yet?

7. Emperors and other Tyrants require excessive homage and treatment
It is their due (they perceive) as nobility and royalty.

Much more so than presidents of the Old American Republic or other free nations.

8. Hyderbad has some serious problems...but food is not on that list.
Why the hell would you eat "Chicken" when you could have authentic Indian food (w/or w/o meat) ? Chimpy is so not cultured.

11. No not fear... just no culture.
I had no problem with the food when I was there, so my only answer is that * is an the uncultured quintessential american asshole when he travels abroad.

But then I am preaching to the choir right ?
