It took me awhile to understand the mentality of those people who adore

O'Lielly.
It is really very simple.
You have a man that was fired from Channel 8 in Dallas for insubordination in the early 70's that went on to do tabloid TV on Inside Edition. The man is an idiot.
His fans are the same people who watched Inside Edition...aka the same people who read The Star, The National Enquireer, the Globe...etc.
I mean, these are the folks that believe in Bigfoot and Jojo the Dog Boy. Believing O'Lielly probably seems sane to them.:eyes:

O'Lielly treats everyone with contempt. Why would someone subject themselves to that as a guest or consider it enjoyable entertainment when he does it to others? They're powerless and live vicariously through O'Lielly's bullying. It also ties into the "abused spouse" mentality gripping so many in this country. The Maladministration keeps dishing out the abuse, and supporters sit back and take it, again and again.

thought O'Rielly was all that. He bought the whole macho, red blooded, take no shit, American truth teller BS image that O'Rielly was selling. Of course he thought the Iraq war was going to pay for itself too.
