US military denies Iraq on brink of civil war

BAGHDAD (AFP) - The US military rejected the idea of a brewing civil war in
Iraq, saying the number of confirmed major attacks on mosques across the country were only seven.

Major General Rick Lynch, spokesman for the coalition forces in Iraq, said "....We are not seeing death on the streets."

The destruction is a direct result of the US poorly run occupation....without the occupation these mosques would still be whole and untouched and 130 Iraqis and 15 American soldiars (today's count)would be alive.....
