The Zelig of the White House Misdeeds- Gonzales!
Everytime you turn around - there he is! If he's not writing and justifying torture, he's obfuscating and holding onto emails about Plame! Oh, there he is again, denying access for Ashcroft and Comey to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee!

Gonzales is the John Mitchell of our day - a man who is deeply personally enmeshed in the malfunctions of this White House. He is unable to differentiate his roles and responsibility to the public (who pays his salary) as either White House Counsel or Attorney General. He calls Bush his "client" which he is clearly NOT - the American people are the client of the Attorney General. I have a clear "no confidence" vote on Gonzales.

1. Not to mention Zelig would blend in with whomever he was near...
...that explains how a hispanic man fits in so well with rich, white guys. ;)

5. Thanks - I can see why Feingold was pushing him so hard the other
day to state that the WH would let them both testify the same way it was allowing Gonzo - just to dampen the 'sorry, executive priviledge' argument.

4. He should never have been confirmed.
Never. And I suppose the Senate just threw wide the door for his sorry ass. Watching him last week, I just wished I could wipe that smirk off his arrogant little face. He is worse than Bush...at least he has to know something about the rule of law he is doing his best to destroy.
