I was wondering if anyone has read, "See No Evil" by Robert Baer.
I saw "Syriana", the movie which was based on "See No Evil." The movie continues to haunt me. I still can't get it out of my head.
I'm about half way through "See No Evil" and it's very difficult to put down--but also very hard to read. It's upsetting.
The book forces me to deal with the fact that there is a major volcano of hate against the United States which is slowly building--and as each day passes--we are less and less prepared to combat the violence that will arise from that hate. Of course, these thoughts are magnified--because our pResident is exacerbating the hate for our country--by the minute--and it's also his policies (cronyism, arrogance, ignorance) which is neutering the CIA and making it less effective in the war on terrorism.
I was wondering if anyone else read the book, and your reactions.
