"The VP, who is terrified that people are going to assassinate him"
Edited on Wed Feb-15-06 10:42 PM by shance

From "Voice of the White House"

"This is a quote off the wire. Had an email from someone who saw the initial SS report to the White House and it runs almost the same except to put a slightly different spin on it. Cheney, heavily guarded and accompanied by a small army of security men and a few medical personnel, was hunting quail in thin brush. One of the party who was a little behind him shot a quail and had to hunt it up in the bush. He found the bird and then charged after the Cheney people.

The VP, who is terrified that people are going to assassinate him, heard his friend calling and crashing towards him, saw a figure with a gun... and fired right at him.

Man was hit in the face with bird shot.

Cheney was stone sober at the time and I am surprised he was shooting at birds on the wing. Normally, he likes tethered or tame game so he won't have to overexert himself. A tame white duck, trussed up and hanging up, alive, in a tree (not too high) is a perfect point blank target for the sportsman Cheney.

The only sinister aspect to this is the hysterical behavior of the VP .

I have done a lot of hunting in my life: quail, pheasants, ducks, geese, a big rabbit hunt in Germany with beaters and all, German wild boar, deer, elk and the occasional beater.

I have gone after quail before and know the part of Texas they are talking about. I am positive it all happened as described but am equally positive that Cheney way overreacted and shot out of sheer terror.

Think about it. Our senior leadership is not only corrupt, they are nuttier than fruitcakes! "

7. Then why does he have his own private National guard protecting him?
Edited on Wed Feb-15-06 10:47 PM by shance
Why does he have his own private army? His own portable Patriot missile? (Im not joking.)

Because he is afraid.

That is why he wants to incarcerate and eliminate everyone and everything that scares him.

4. Of course, with the repukes in power, they will never subpoena the SS to
give their version of events, like they SCREAMED at President Clinton.

That might lead to the actual TRUTH!

8. The "Voice of the White House" is a column...
...from www.tbrnews.org. The Voice claims to be an insider who works within the WH and writes a weekly column on the goings on within the Monkey House. The column comes with a disclaimer, but there's nothing I've seen to prove otherwise.

At any rate, the account given by this guy, is entirely validated by the suspicions and analysis I've been reading here since the incident. Clearly, a man running towards Dickie is gonna be a lot closer than 30 yards, something that is becoming accepted knowledge here. It also gives another reason for the lengthy delay in the reporting.

Take with a grain of salt as always, but its the most accurate account of the incident I've read from a news outlet so far.

14. Except that there was no cover anywhere they were hunting.
No one could hide. No one could lay in wait. No one could sneak up on anybody. So the theory posited by that 'column' is nonsense. The SS was protecting Darth. They had exposure to all areas. This is nonsense.

15. Have you seen Dick Cheney's tax payer ciphoning security detail?
His neighbors sure have. So have others whose environment has utterly been invaded by his small calvalry, all due to his amazing cowardice.

It takes paranoia to entirely different realm.

On the other hand, if you didn't read this article the SS was dispersed at the time.

You and I weren't there. And, with that reality apparent, you have absolutely no idea what the truth is and neither do I.

All we do know is Dick Cheney is highly paranoid of being assassinated, and the proof is the small army that he has "protecting" him from all the harm he has inflicted on thousands of American families, not to mention the families in Iraq and Afghanistan.

With his accompanying Blackhawk helicopters and armored security following him everywhere he goes, that shows much of his internal concerns.

Apparently things were somewhat relaxed in South Texas, or atleast for any other less paranoid VP, it was probably normal. Who knows what made him so trigger happy, but this in my opinion would make more sense.

16. What I do know is that the terrain was wide open and the SS have a set job
They protect the VP. They keep a lookout for anyone approaching. That's their job. Whatever Dick's private people do is at his discretion. The SS will still do its job. I don't need to have been there to know that much.

I don't doubt that he's paranoid, but I doubt that it had anything to do with the shooting. However, it had everything to do with the coverup that followed.

17. We know he shot him, what we don't know is why he
did not go to the hospital with him or why he waited 14 hours to talk to the authorities about this.

18. DO NOT TRUST THE "VOICE OF THE WHITEHOUSE".
It is a column of "tbrnews.com".

TBR News is the "news" arm of "The Barnes Review", a holocaust-denial propaganda outfit.

Kos had this piece during Gannongate:

19. What does that have to do with this? We should now trust Cheney
because there is a claim that this website has a 'holocaust denier' posting there?

You're promoting fear and scapegoating along with the baby and the bath water.

That would be nice.
