When does the postage stamp price go up?

I'm sending out bills and wondered if I could still use my old stamps.

4. I asked the same question this morning.

A co-worker looked it up, the 8th. I have a bunch of 37ers. Why don't they just go to $.40 and leave it alone for a while longer? It's not the price, it's the shortage of 2 cent stamps after they raise it. Real pain in the butt!

5. Postcards will go up 1 cent to 24 cents,

first class letters to 39 cents, and Priority Mail will go from $3.85 to well over $4.00, the biggest increase of the three. I went to the post office today and they were nearly out of 37 cent stamps-they were selling their commemoratives. I had 50 letters to mail (for the buisness I work for) and was glad to get them out before the price change.
