On this Valentine's day I would like to say a prayer for the
Iraqis and the soldiers caught up in this lie called the Iraq War.

I figure this thread will get buried in the other happenings right now, but the Iraq War is weighing heavily on me this morning and just wanted some of you if you can, to take a minute and say a prayer today.

6. I am not a prayer sort of person
but I will keep them in my thoughts all day. I will send many wishes to our soldiers as well as the many innocent people who have gotten caught up in this illegal occupation.

I hope for safety for all of them.

I hope love finds a place in their hearts and it stays there until their final days.

I hope they find peace, love and happiness.

I hope they find their connection to the world around them and realize the connection we all share and I hope they work to support that connection for the rest of their life.

7. In my thoughts and prayers everyday
Younger military families especially came to mind this morning, it's so sad some children will be missing out on a parent's Valentines hugs and kisses.

9. Love to all the Iraqi people and to the military personnel who have been
placed in an impossible situation against their will and a prayer for enlightenment for the military personnel who are gung ho about the war and /or despise the Iraqi people.
